Caring & Dependable

Maria (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A) under the supervision of Kimberly Harrington-Delgado, LPC-S. She holds her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. As a second career, Maria decided to become a counselor because of her passion for mental health and helping people. She enjoys working with couples and individuals, from as young as 5 years old up to 76, with an emphasis for teens, college students, young adults, parents, and teachers. Maria has experience working with people who have experienced trauma, especially through domestic violence. She also has special place in her heart for the LGBTQ+ community and working with folks of varying gender identities.

What Maria Loves Most
about Being a Therapist…

Seeing the progress people make and how they trust us with the heaviest parts of themselves, and giving them hope and faith in themselves.

A Bit of the Personal

In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband, teens, and friends. In the fall, they enjoy watching football and cheering on the Longhorns and Cowboys. She also enjoys curling up with a good book, watching a movie, and getting outside for long walks.
