Matt (he/him) is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master’s degree from Baylor University. Prior to becoming a therapist, he spent over 20 years serving in the military. Matt works with individuals (ages 13+), and is experienced in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy strategies with his clients. Matt is enthusiastic about helping people heal from trauma, overcome depression, and improve their mental health. He has a particular passion for working with veterans and first responders. Matt is excited to be part of the Ampersand team and looking forward to helping you in your journey.

A Bit of the Personal

When not working, you can usually find Matt at a baseball field coaching his kids’ teams. If he’s not there, he’ll be outside doing yard work or in his backyard doing playing with his kids.
